a lil Challenge: Literature Character

When winter comes, my creativity seems to freeze up like everything else. Thank goodness for the challenges that have been making their rounds! The one I’m attempting today comes from Teagan Blackthorne. Teagan issued a Literature Challenge-pick a book, pick a character, make the character come to life iSL.

Sookie Stackhouse by you.

Currently, I am obsessed with the Sookie Stackhouse Novels by Charlaine Harris. They are the novels that inspired the HBO series, True Blood. The main character, Sookie, is in her mid-twenties, around 5’6″ and 115 pounds. She has blonde hair that she usually keeps in a ponytail, so that she has something to mess with when she is nervous. She is from Louisiana, and often dresses simply. Sookie’s main quirk is that she is telepathic. The fact that she can read everyone’s thoughts often causes a tense look on her face.

Sookie Stackhouse by you.

I chose to recreate a look that Sookie wears during her trip to Fangtasia, the local vampire bar. While the majority of the patrons there wear dark colors, Sookie chose to wear a white sundress with red flowers. This dress from Reaction that has been sitting in my inventory forever fit the bill.

For the full details of the products I used to recreate Sookie Stackhouse’s look, scroll on down.

Xoxo,

Tiffer GG
