Digit Darkes is one designer that has mastered mixing the right amount of sex appeal and class. Rain shows just the right amount of skin, without looking like a dirty whore. The skirt fits the high standards Digit has set for herself, and has the usual detail and movement we have come to expect. The hair is Diversity’s newest release-Shyane. I love Aleri’s hair, and I love the fun that this style brings.

a Darke Affair

This is me procrastinating studying for a history test I have in  a little over 12 hours that I have no desire to take…

This is the second look I picked up from Digit Darkes abundance of New Releases. Digit gave us the smoking Affair Dress last year, and now she has managed to make it even hotter with the Foreign Affair. The new design features sexy animal prints. I chose the Zebra/Lemon, and once again paired it with the Clyde Boots, this time in White. The gloves are a dollarbie from the main Digit Darkes store, and are fun! I love gloves-in one instant they can complete an outfit (which spares me from racking my brain trying to pick the right jewelry!). She not only has the Fern Gloves set out for 1L (pictured), but one more color, though I can’t remember which color off the top of my head. The rest of the credits are below, and now I may attempt to go study. Just kidding, I’ll probably go to bed…

I Wanna Take a Ride on Your Disco Stick

This is my last, and probably favorite, of my Lady Gaga inspired looks. Lately, she has been snapped rocking the lavender. You can check a pic out of Lady Gaga decked out in lavender here.

 

As for how I put together this look, I started with the Betty Dress from Digit Darkes. I once again added the Fashion Pop hair from VintageWear, though this time I re-textured the bow to a shade of lavender. I’m trying not to buy anymore skins for awhile, so I tried to find a skin in my inventory with lavender lips. I came upon Rockberry’s Lily D, which had the lavender lips, though not quite as pastel as Lady Gaga’s.

‘Cause I’m Bluffing With My Muffin

I’m back with another Lady Gaga inspired look. You often can catch her not wearing pants, so when I saw Bijou’s Blaze, I instantly pictured Lady Gagain it. Although she doesn’t seem to be a big fan of coats (the amount of pics they snapped of her around London coat-less was crazy), I decided to add Snatch’s Harlot Coat as a touch of fun. By the way, Snatchis having a 50% off sale this weekend only, so if you like this coat, or have been eying some of Ivey’s other kick-ass designs, run on over there now. As for the shoes, I went with a funky pair of booties from Kookie, Natasha. Today, I chose to forgo the bangs, but I thought that Diversity’s Annelise style was funky enough to do Gaga proud.

Beautiful Dirty Rich

Either you are tired of Lady Gaga by now, or if you are like me you just can’t get enough. Her style is sick, and to duplicate it iRL seems crazy. Thank god for SL giving me the chance to try out these brave looks.

 

When VintageWear released the Fashion Pop style, I decided that it was time I truly paid homage to this fashion risk-taker by devoting a few posts to her. I got the idea for this first look after seeing a picture of her on PerezHilton.com (click here to see it!) wearing simply a bra and a skirt. The bra I threw on is from RunoRuno. I picked a skirt from Icing, because let’s face it, she is the queen of system skirts!

Little black Valentine’s

What’s a single gal to do on Valentine’s? You could throw on some comfy pj’s, crack open a bottle a wine, and pop in a romantic dvd sure to make you cry. Or, you could throw on your sexiest little black dress and hit up one of the LBD Parties hosted for all the single ladies in your town. The two perks of your second option? A great chance to look hawt with your fellow single girlfriends and an opportunity to pick up a suitor to spend the rest of your Valentine’s with.

If you are in a crowded bar/club filled with women in LBD’s, it’s a must that your LBD has something to make you stand out. I slipped on RunoRuno’s Hyperkinetic Dress, which definitely is a stand-out dress. Since the dress on it’s on is so sexy and sheer, I kept the accessories low-key. The shoes are the simple, yet sheik, Silver-Stud Pumps from Stiletto Moody. The bracelets are a set of classic bangles from Fresh Baked Goods, and the earrings are a part of the No Love Lost set from Violet Voltaire. I knew I wanted an elegant, yet slightly messy, up-do to show off the back of the dress, and Truth’s Trisha fit the bill.

Sugary Pink Overload

Valentine’s means loads of pink and tons of candy. Once I combined the two, this is the look I came up with. Two of the key pieces of this look were free: the dress being a lucky chair gift from katatOnik, and the hair a group gift from !lamb(that you’ve prolly seen on the feeds at least once by now). As for the stuff I bought-the shoes are the new Ghostfire Boots from katatOnik and the adorable necklace is fromCanimal. As for the yummies in my mouth, I grabbed the Spoon Full of Sweet Love from Lazy Places.

As for me, my Valentine’s is looking like it’s gonna be all candy and no loving. That is…unless you don’t mind making out with a chick that has bronchitis?

Canary Kisses

While I’m attempting to get my 4 hours of phone calls completed for work (most of the time involves waiting for a manager to pick up the darn phone), I figured I would throw up a quick blog post.

 

I actually took these pics a few weeks ago. I could gush once again of my love for the Darkes’ sisters, but I’ll spare you all. This look started with one of Digit Darkes’ latest release, the Kisses Dress. Around the same time, Aleri released a pair of heels, Iona, under her line, Diversity. I love pointy-toed shoes, and I really do not think there are enough of them iSL, so I jump at almost every pair I see of them. Another piece I added from Digit Darkes, is their Ankle Pouchette. I think this is one of the cutest accessories I’ve ever seen and it accented the outfit well.

Well, I’m going to go back to banging my head on my desk as I wait some more on hold. The full outfit details are below!
